Located in Hawaii Volcanoes National Park, golfing at Volcano Golf and Country Club is a dream come true for every golf enthusiast. Are you seeking a unique way to spend your vacation on the Big Island?

Why don’t you visit this scenic 6547-yard course, which is 30-mile drive up from Hilo where you could also find full restaurants, bars, and other facilities! Whether you are a solo wanderer, travelling with your children, colleagues, or friends, your complete fun adventure is guaranteed here. So, book your tee times now and prepare your game and camera!

Lying in the cool highlands at about 4,000 feet above sea level, Volcano Golf and Country Club is set on the rim of the active Kilauea volcanic crater! Did you know that is it one of the most unusual courses in the world? Plus, it allows a bird’s eye view of the stunning Mauna Loa and Mauna Kea Mountains that are typically snow-capped during winter. While playing, crisp and clean air blows your way, which adds thrill to your game.

Also, if you love the outdoors but looking forward to a peaceful golf course, which allows you to concentrate and relax for a fantastic round, Volcano Club should be on your top list! If you notice, the course is fairly flat but beware, because it does have some rolling hills that can result in uneven lies. Furthermore, nearly all of the tees and some of the greens are elevated, so you might want to plan your strategies beforehand. Here’s a tip for you: the most challenging hole is the 425-yard, par 4 hole number 15 that needed a tee shot up a dogleg fairway with tall pine trees as obstructions.

Nearby the golf club is fine restaurants that serve all kinds of cuisine – from your usual breakfast, including eggs, ham, and rice with hot coffee. There’s never less in Volcano Golf! There are also nice cafes if you prefer pastries and baked goodies, and if you wish to lighten up your afternoon mood, visit some of the bars that serve Island-style cocktails, beers, and wines while listening to acoustic music.
