So, you flew all the way to Hawaii – it was probably a long flight. Why not make the best out of it while you are here? What we mean is a complete helicopter tour around the land of Aloha’s Big Island.

Book your tickets now with Paradise Helicopters! With reasonable prices, you can circle around the whole island in just two hours, while taking magnificent pictures and videos that you can show your loved ones when you head back home. This one-of-a-kind expedition is offered only by Paradise Helicopters, which starts at Kona.

From arranging your ride to the Kona Airport until driving you back to your resort or hotel, the professional and helpful staff will take care of you and ensure you get everything you need. And of course, we make sure to remind you to bring your cameras because you don’t want to miss capturing all the attractions that are about to unfold right before your eyes!

Kick off your aerial tour at the Kona Airport at the island’s most western tip. Your skilled and professional pilot will start flying you over the Kona coffee district, where you will see from your windows a massive plantation of one of the most expensive coffees in the world. Did you know that the weather in this area, combined with the porous, mineral volcanic soil made the Kona coffee grow into its best conditions? Most days throughout the year, mornings here are sunny, cloudy or rainy in the afternoon, and the light and mild wind make the nights slightly breezy.

Your next destination would be the slopes of Mauna Loa towards the most southern town in the United States, Hilo. Here’s a little Mauna Loa trivia for you: This world’s largest volcano and mountain is around 600,000 to 1,000,000 years old and is one of the most active volcanoes in the world. But when it erupts, it usually produces large rivers of lava, which unfortunately threatened the beautiful town of Hilo several times.

At this point, ready your camera because you are about to witness one of the four green sand beaches in the world! Next, your pilot will take you to the world’s most active volcano – the Kilauea, and then continue towards the crater called Pu‘u ‘Ō‘ō Vent. This volcanic cone of the Kilauea had been erupting since January 3, 1983, until the end of April 2018. As many people call it, it is a dangerous beauty. Your eyes will feast on these unique natural beauties that only Hawaii offers.

Your pilot now will turn to the east for you to view the island’s lush windward side. Here, you will observe how water flows where lava once did, cascading from sheer cliffs through lava tubes, creating hundreds of waterfalls that serve as nourishment to rich vegetation. You see, nature has its ways to nourish plants that nourish us, despite some inevitable disasters it brings. To complete your adventure before returning to Kona, where you will pass by white-sand beaches, get ready to be amazed by breathtaking waterfalls of the north.
