[vc_row][vc_column][nd_options_spacer nd_options_height=”30″][vc_column_text]Have fun riding an ATV (all-terrain vehicle) and explore Oahu’s countryside, discover hidden valleys on horseback, go on a jungle expedition or ocean voyage to a secret island, enjoy a nature hike through tropical gardens, or visit popular Hollywood filming locations – all this is possible at Kualoa Ranch.
Established in 1850, Kualoa is a 4000-acre working cattle ranch, located on Oahu’s east shore. It is also a popular visitor attraction with many fun activities for the whole family. Just the setting of the ranch is breathtaking. Backed by the majestic Ko’olau Mountain Range, Kualoa offers stunning views of dense rainforests, verdant valleys, ancient Hawaiian fishponds and the ocean. There’s even a petting zoo that’s fun for kids. It is truly a paradise for outdoor recreation. Choose from a variety of Kualoa Ranch activities below.
While you’re at Kualoa Ranch feel free to check out the Kualoa History Hall, Judd Theater, Farm Animal Exhibit, Sculpture Garden, and the Kualoa Gift Shop! There’s also Aunty Pat’s Cafe where you can stop for a bite to eat.[/vc_column_text][nd_options_spacer nd_options_height=”30″][vc_row_inner][vc_column_inner width=”1/2″][vc_toggle title=”Kualoa Ranch Tours and Activities”]Looking for an outdoor adventure during your vacation on Oahu? Something fun to do other than the beach? Come visit Kualoa Ranch on Oahu’s windward coast, located just a short drive away behind the mountain range that backs Waikiki. In addition to being one of the largest cattle ranches in all of Hawaii, Kualoa Ranch offers a wide variety of activities.
Love horses? Saddle up and enjoy a leisurely hike through lush forests. Your horseback tour guide will take you to multiple scenic spots and lookout points along the way. Want to explore Oahu’s countryside with a little more horsepower? Check out Kualoa Ranch’s ATV tour. Drive along dirt trails and kick up some mud.
New at Kualoa Ranch is their thrilling canopy zipline tour. Featuring seven tandem ziplines measuring 200 feet and up to a quarter mile in length plus two suspension bridges, this is the perfect adventure if you crave excitement. Better than any roller coaster ride![/vc_toggle][/vc_column_inner][vc_column_inner width=”1/2″][vc_toggle title=”Popular Movie Location”]Kualoa Ranch is one of the most scenic locations on Oahu. It is no wonder that the ranch has served as a filming location for over 50 of Hollywood’s biggest blockbusters and TV shows. If you’re a movie buff, check out the Kualoa Ranch Movie Sites Tour, which takes you to locations that you might recognize. See Godzilla’s footsteps, the fallen tree from Jurassic Park, the Windtalkers battlegrounds, the “penguin” road site from 50 First Dates, the house structure from Mighty Joe Young and many Hawaii Five-0 and LOST areas, including Hurley’s golf course. Some of the 1960s Elvis classics were filmed here as well.
Besides visiting the actual filming sites, this tour also takes you to an old Army bunker that dates back to World War II. The bunker was built into a mountain. Today, it houses a little movie museum, where you’ll find movie posters and memorabilia from many of the films that were shot at Kualoa Ranch through the years. There are also a few interesting artifacts and exhibits from Kualoa during WWII.[/vc_toggle][/vc_column_inner][/vc_row_inner][nd_options_spacer nd_options_height=”10″][nd_travel_packages_pg
