Can you imagine playing golf at a jaw-dropping golf course and then feasting on mouth-watering delicacies with a beautiful background after?

Whether you are a beginner or professional, the award-winning Mauna Kea Golf Course offers fun and challenging games. Designed by world-renowned architect Robert Trent Jones Sr. in 1964, this 18-hole championship course features scenic views that are worth capturing. So after booking your tee times, come with your best game and camera!

As soon as you arrive here, you will be welcomed by a friendly crew, who ensures you’ve got everything you need. In case you haven’t brought your golf equipment, you can rent or buy from their fully-stocked Pro Shop, where you could also purchase other unique golf accessories and apparel for men, women, and children. The resort also has a few restaurants to choose from, serving delicious cuisine from breakfast, lunch, snack and dinner. And if you want to loosen a bit during sunset after your round, head over to one of their bars and listen to Jazz music while sipping your favorite beverages. You can dine indoors or outdoors, depending on your taste. We suggest eating and drinking out for a relaxing mood.

Remodelled by the older Jones’s son, Robert Trent Jones Jr. added some modern touches to the course, allowing guests to overcome challenges according to their skill level. While the older Jones kept the original character, his son incorporated state-of-the-art irrigation, bunker liners, and advanced drainage techniques. The bunkers are also increased into 99, expanded overall yardages by 200 yards from the tips, and included onboard GPS in all golf carts to meet the modern golfer’s demands.

Did you know that this course used to be a barren black lava field? Now, it has become a stunning property with lush fairways tumbling across seaside cliffs with unrolling ocean and coastal views! While its undulating greens are elevated, and the prevailing coastal winds require accuracy, an epic play over the ocean in the 3rd hole rewards you with an unforgettable day of play.
