Group surf lessons are a great way to meet new people and learn the basics of surfing. Join other beginners while an experienced surfer instructs you. This lesson is ideal for those who do not want to be in a one-on-one environment but still want the attention of an instructor. You will also have more time on the waves because there are six students per instructor–which means less waiting! Remember that if children under ten years old are taking this class, we respectfully do not offer a Group Lesson for safety reasons. We recommend either Semi-Private or Private Lessons instead, which include only one student with their instructor.

We are the only company in Lahaina to offer group lessons and private lessons as well! All levels of surfing experience can be accommodated. Our instructors have years of experience teaching people how to surf for the first time, or even teach more advanced surfing techniques to those who want to get better at it. Lessons include using all equipment, including rashguard, surf shoes, soft top boards, and safety fins. Group lessons last about 1 hour with an approximate 15-minute land lesson on the basics of surfing emphasizing water safety followed by 45 minutes in the water with the instructor working with students individually on technique and catching waves.
