Huggo’s new beachside restaurant and bar is the perfect place to get your toes in the sand. We showcase some of Hawaii’s most talented artists while you enjoy a refreshing cocktail or plate with an ocean view.
The lot adjacent to our flagship Huggo’s restaurant was long in vacancy, but when it became available for purchase we jumped on the chance of creating this more casual version, yet sophisticated space that also showcases some of Hawaii’s best musicians playing on any given night!
The menu at this restaurant is very casual with an emphasis on freshly prepared island-inspired dishes. There are many beverages available to refresh your taste buds, such as tropical cocktails and refreshing fruit juice drinks. This place was designed for family memories; it’s a fun atmosphere where good friends can come together and have something delicious!
On the Rocks is your destination for a refreshing, delicious meal or drink any time of day. Whether you’re looking to satisfy that late-night craving with pupus and cocktails on our happy hour menu from 3-5 pm daily, sip some tropical libations during sunset hours at 5 pm as the sun sets over Waikiki Beach (weather permitting), enjoy dinner until closing every evening after dark…or even breakfast right before noon! The possibilities are endless when it comes to On the Rocks!
We want to make sure that every guest who comes into our establishment has a great dining experience so we limit table time. This is for the benefit of all guests because too many people can’t eat their whole meal and enjoy this amazing place with its scenic views, local artisans’ wares, or ocean breezes in just two hours!

From its inception as Huggo’s on the Rocks back in 1998 to today when it is known simply as “On The Rock,” this restaurant/bar has long served up some great food alongside excellent drinks which are perfect for sharing with friends or just relaxing after work with your favorite music playing overhead.
On the Rocks is a lively bar on the island that features live entertainment nightly. Every week, they have different musicians with various talents to entertain their guests from singers and dancers to skilled guitar players in an array of genres including rock, jazz, folk, or country music. If you’re looking for a place where life never stops moving this should be your new destination! Come and enjoy LIVE music from the best live bands around! On The Rocks has a variety of styles including blues, jazz-rock fusion, soulful rock n’ roll. There’s something for everyone to listen to every night from 6 pm until 10 pm or later if you’re feeling it (and not quite ready to leave).
