Triple Play Package
Diamond Head Crater Hike + Makapu’u Lighthouse + Hanauma Bay
We request a minimum of 4 people for the Triple Play combo package. We’ll provide water for both hikes and a small snack before beginning the Makapu’u hike. You are also welcome to bring your own snacks or pack a lunch.

With an adrenaline-pumping hike to get your body moving, trek up Diamond Head Crater for unparalleled views of the coastline. Don’t miss the incredible panoramas made famous by “Lost” and “Hawaii Five-O!” Next, visit Makapu’u Lighthouse for a stroll along the picturesque southeastern coast! Take in panoramic views of the beautiful Pacific, and during winter keep your eyes peeled for Humpback Whales!
Then it’s time to get acquainted with some friendly underwater creatures on an exhilarating snorkel adventure around Hanauma Bay! Test out the beautiful blue waters of Hanauma Bay, scanning the gorgeous coral reef with over 450 species of friendly, vibrant fish! This amazing outdoor adventure combo is perfect for your Waikiki getaway.
Rating
Diamond Head: Rated Easy to Moderate with a 1.6mi (2.6km) round-trip hike that gains 560 feet of elevation. The hiking trail can be uneven in some areas, and the last 1/10 of a mile is a steep staircase.
Makapu’u Lighthouse: Rated Easy to Moderate with a 2.0mi (3.2km) round-trip hike that gains 500 feet of elevation. This trail is exposed with little cover and is usually sunny and hot. It can be very windy at the summit.
Locations
Diamond Head, South Oahu:
One of the most famous volcanic craters in the world, Diamond Head sits along the southeast coast of Oahu and is one of the most iconic landmarks of Waikiki. (2 hours)
Makapuu Point Trail, East Oahu:
The Makapu‘u Point trail offers outstanding views of Oahu’s southeastern coastline and after a 1-mile hike up to the summit one is rewarded with magnificent views of the windward coast and offshore islands! (2.5 hours)
Hanauma Bay, Southeast Oahu:
Hanauma Bay is a protected marine life conservation area and one of the world’s best places for novice snorkelers. (5 hours)
Tour Times
- Depart Waikiki at 6:20am, Return at 3:30pm
- Total tour time is approximately 12 hours, if conditions permit. Please account for possible delays due to traffic, weather, etc. when planning your day.
- * Combo packages are not available on Tuesdays and Sundays.*
Optional snorkeling accessories are available for an additional cost – including underwater cameras, dry snorkels, corrective lens masks, and flotation vests – or you can bring your own gear if you prefer.
