About Shaxi Diamond Head Hiking and Waikiki Tour
Aloha, and welcome to beautiful Waikiki! The Shaxi Diamond Head Hiking and Waikiki Tour is a unique tour only offered by Shaxi. It combines our normal Shaxi Waikiki Tour with an extended 1.5 to 2 hour stop inside the world famous Diamond Head Crater. This gives you time to hike the summit at your own pace, before getting picked up to continue the second half of the Waikiki Tour.

You haven’t been to Waikiki if you haven’t hiked the iconic and beautiful Diamond Head Crater! Shaxi will pick you and your friends up at your hotel or any location in the Waikiki area. You will enjoy learning about lots of historical sites and facts on the way to the Diamond Head Crater. Diamond Head is one of the most famous landmarks on Oahu. It used to be an active volcano, 150,000 years ago, but now is a very popular sightseeing/hiking spot for travelers from all over the world! The Diamond Head area also has other interesting sites to explore like The Leahi Millennium Peace Garden, Fort Ruger Pathway and the perfect photo op with the beautiful view from the lookout just before you go through the tunnel to get to the crater. The Fort Ruger Pathway is very popular for joggers and walkers with exercise spots along the way. Remember to wear proper clothes and footwear for your hike! Don’t forget water and your sunscreen!
