Duration
Pickup-based surf session with timing coordinated in advance.
Meeting Point
You don’t need to find us—we’ll come to you. You’ll receive a call the evening before your lesson to confirm pickup details. On the day, we’ll drive you to the beach and bring you back to your hotel after the session.
Cancellations
You’ll receive a full refund or credit if you cancel at least 24 hours before your scheduled lesson.
Group Size
Up to 6 people per group, keeping the experience personal and easy to manage in the water.
Activity Details
There’s nothing quite like catching your first wave in Hawaiʻi. This lesson is built to give you that moment—safely and with clear, patient coaching. Your professional surf instructor starts by teaching you the correct stance and how to move on the board while it’s laid out on the sand. Once you’re comfortable with the basics, you’ll head into the water together.
Out in the lineup, your instructor will position the group where the waves are breaking, tell you when to start paddling, and cue you when it’s time to stand. You’ll be guided through each attempt, so you’re never left guessing what to do next.
Class sizes are intentionally kept small, typically 4–6 students, so everyone gets individual attention. If you’re traveling with a larger group, arrangements can be made in advance to ensure everyone learns in a safe, organized environment.
