Since the eruption of Kīlauea on December 23, 2024, there have been frequent and spectacular lava fountaining events, some reaching heights of 1,000 feet. These events occur every 1-2 weeks, providing an unforgettable backdrop to your journey through the park’s diverse ecosystems.
