Tour start times vary by season to ensure optimal sunset viewing. Generally, tours begin 1-2 hours before sunset, allowing time for instruction and paddling to the best viewing location. We’ll provide exact timing based on your tour date.
No prior SUP experience is required! Sunset tours are designed for all skill levels with a relaxed pace focused on enjoying the scenery. Guides provide basic instruction and support throughout the tour.
Bring swimwear or quick-dry clothing, a light jacket for after sunset, reef-safe sunscreen, water, and a waterproof phone case for photos. We provide all SUP equipment and safety gear including LED lights for safe return to shore.
Absolutely! Sunset SUP tours offer incredible photography opportunities with stunning light and reflections. Waterproof phone cases or cameras are recommended. The stable platform of a SUP board provides excellent photo opportunities of the sunset and surrounding scenery.
Even cloudy sunsets can be spectacular with dramatic lighting and colors. Tours proceed unless weather conditions are unsafe for paddling. Cloudy skies often create the most dramatic and colorful sunset displays, so don’t worry about a few clouds!
