About the Experience
Skip the crowds and enjoy a private, customized experience designed just for you and your family and/or friends. This private tour offers a naturally socially distanced activity in the great outdoors.
Scotty, the owner and experienced kayak tour guide, has been guiding on Maui since 2005. He will lead you on a leisurely paddle through Makena Bay, exploring the scenic coastline. Depending on the time of year, you’ll have the opportunity to:
Kayak with Whales during Maui’s Whale Season (from January 1st to March 31st)
Snorkel at Turtle Town and swim with Hawaii’s endangered green sea turtles, while marveling at the colorful reef.
Scotty will take you away from the crowds to some of the best, lesser-known spots, and you may even encounter a Hawaiian Monk Seal. Throughout your tour, Scotty will take professional underwater photographs and share the final shots with you, capturing memories of your incredible adventure.
Makena Bay is known for its shallow, well-lit reefs and calm morning waters, making it ideal for families with small children and first-time to advanced ocean enthusiasts.
