Refund Policy
Refunds will be honored if cancellation requests are made directly to Luau Kalamaku or your booking agency within 48 hours prior to your scheduled check-in time. To cancel, please contact us by phone or email (for after-hours cancellations). If you booked through a third-party agency, your payment was collected by them, and your refund will be processed directly by that agency. Cancellation requests outside the 48-hour window or no-shows will incur a full charge.

Group Bookings (20 or more guests)
For groups of 20 or more, whether booked directly or through an affiliate, cancellations made at least 21 days (3 weeks) before the reservation date will receive a full refund. Group size reductions of up to 10% (e.g., 2 guests in a 20-person group) are permitted by this deadline. Cancellations or changes made within 21 days of the reservation date are non-refundable.

Trip Protection
Trip Protection is available only for bookings made directly through Luau Kalamaku’s website (www.LuauKalamaku.com) or by calling our reservations team. It does not apply to third-party or agency bookings. Trip Protection must be selected at the time of booking and is non-refundable. It allows for cancellation or rescheduling for any reason before 1:30 PM on the day of the luau. Guests will receive a full refund, minus the cost of Trip Protection and any applicable processing or booking fees. Once rescheduled using Trip Protection, the booking cannot be cancelled or refunded again.

Transportation & Experience Information

  • Round-trip transportation is provided from most major hotels and resorts in Lihue, Poipu, Kapaa, and Princeville areas. Specific pickup times are arranged based on your accommodation location and confirmed when you book.

  • The complete experience lasts approximately 5 hours from initial pickup to return drop-off. This includes transportation time, the luau dinner, and entertainment program which concludes around 7:30 PM.

  • We service most major accommodation areas on Kauai. If your specific hotel isn’t on our regular route, we can often arrange pickup at a nearby location or provide alternative transportation arrangements.

  • While we cannot guarantee specific table locations, we accommodate special requests when possible such as seating for large groups together or accessibility needs. Please mention any preferences when booking.

  • If you miss your scheduled pickup, please contact us immediately. While we cannot guarantee the same transportation, we’ll work to help you reach the venue independently and still enjoy the luau experience.
