Location: Kauai, Hawaii

Activity Overview:
If there’s one thing you experience in Hawaii, make sure it’s Luau Kalamaku. This extraordinary event is designed for those seeking the ultimate Hawaiian cultural experience, blending incredible food, immersive storytelling, and breathtaking entertainment.

About the Luau
THE SHOW
While many luaus offer Hawaiian food, music, and hula dancing, Luau Kalamaku takes it a step further with an immersive experience that transports you to the heart of ancient Polynesia. Set during the epic voyages between Hawaii and Tahiti along one of the longest sea roads of Polynesia, the show explores the legacy of these ancient voyagers through a dynamic mix of laughter, fear, seduction, and fire.

The show builds to a powerful climax featuring fire poi balls and traditional fire knife dancing. As the performance reaches its peak, the legendary figures of Pele, the fire goddess, her sister Hiiaka, Lohiau the prince of Kauai, and the fire-breathing Moo-dragon women honor Kauai’s rich mythology.

Rather than simply watching, you are part of the story. Celebrate the primal rhythms of Kauai as the family in the tale struggles with courage and vision to carry them toward a brighter future.
