Kona Departure Pearl Harbor Experience Guide

  • We recommend booking at least one month before your arrival in Hawaiʻi. Seats on tours and inter-island flights to and from Oʻahu are limited, especially early outbound and late return flights that offer the best views. This tour includes a 45-minute helicopter flight over Oʻahu and Pearl Harbor, making it a once-in-a-lifetime experience and one of our most popular Pearl Harbor options.

  • From the air, you’ll enjoy views of many of Oʻahu’s most iconic locations, including:

    • Waikīkī

    • National Punchbowl Cemetery of the Pacific

    • Diamond Head

    • Hanauma Bay

    • Koko Head

    • Makapuʻu Lighthouse

    • Waimanalo

    • East Oʻahu

    • Polynesian Cultural Center

    • North Shore of Oʻahu

    • Famous surfing beaches

    • Dole Plantation

    • Pineapple fields

    • USS Missouri

    • Pearl Harbor

  • Because you are driving yourself, you can stay at Pearl Harbor as long as you like. If you plan to see more sites the same day, we recommend spending about 2.5 hours at Pearl Harbor and planning carefully around your helicopter tour time.

  • Helicopter capacity is limited each day, but we do our best to work with larger groups. Please contact us directly so we can explore options and design a plan that allows your group to enjoy Oʻahu from the sky.

  • Yes. This package is available only from the outer islands of Maui, Kauaʻi, and the Big Island of Hawaiʻi. It is a fly-and-drive package that includes a helicopter ride, with your rental car picked up at Honolulu International Airport.
