This 3-hour ocean adventure is exclusively available to Aulani guests, offering thrilling snorkeling experiences where you’ll have the chance to see Hawaiian green sea turtles in their natural habitat.

You can bring your own snorkel and mask, or sanitized reusable sets are available as a backup.

FREE TURTLE RERIDE TERMS:

  • The return trip is of equal or lesser value.

  • Rerides are available for one return trip per original paid trip, and no refunds are offered.

Turtle Snorkel Information

  • While we cannot guarantee turtle sightings as they are wild animals, our success rate is very high due to our knowledge of turtle feeding areas and behavior patterns. We visit locations with the highest probability of encounters and adjust routes based on recent turtle activity and optimal conditions.

  • Basic swimming ability and comfort in water required. Our guides provide snorkel instruction for beginners and in-water assistance. Life jackets and flotation devices available for less confident swimmers. The tour accommodates all skill levels with proper supervision and safety measures.

  • Federal and state laws require maintaining a safe distance of at least 10 feet from sea turtles. Our guides ensure respectful wildlife viewing that doesn’t disturb turtle behavior while still providing excellent observation and photography opportunities. This distance protects both turtles and snorkelers.

  • In addition to sea turtles, you may encounter tropical fish, dolphins, monk seals, and various coral species. The diverse Waikiki marine ecosystem supports numerous species, and our guides help identify different creatures while focusing primarily on turtle encounters.

  • Yes, families are welcome with proper supervision. Children must be comfortable in water and accompanied by adults at all times. We provide child-sized snorkel equipment and extra safety measures for young participants. Minimum age restrictions may apply based on conditions.
