Hawaiian Sunset Sail

There’s nothing like a Hawaiian sunset, and experiencing it from the sea is truly unforgettable! Enjoy a scenic cocktail cruise—one of the best things to do in Waikiki. Sail south toward Diamond Head, and on the return journey, catch the moment the sun dips below the horizon. You might even witness the green flash! This relaxing experience takes place aboard a stable sailing catamaran.

  • Winter: 5:00 PM – 6:30 PM (Daily, except Fridays)

  • Summer: 5:30 PM – 7:00 PM (Daily, except Fridays)

Waikiki Sailing Information

  • We depart from convenient Waikiki Marina locations with easy access from major hotels and resorts. Specific departure points and directions are provided upon booking confirmation. Complimentary shuttle service available from select Waikiki hotels with advance arrangement.

  • The complete sailing experience lasts 2.5-3 hours, including departure, coastal sailing, sunset viewing, and return to marina. This timing allows for optimal sunset viewing while providing ample time for sailing, photography, and enjoying the onboard experience.

  • We use modern sailing catamarans and monohulls designed for comfort, safety, and optimal viewing. Vessels feature stable platforms, comfortable seating, shade options, and premium amenities. Our fleet is regularly maintained and inspected to ensure the highest safety and comfort standards.

  • No sailing experience required. Our professional crew handles all sailing operations while you relax and enjoy the experience. Guests are welcome to observe sailing techniques and ask questions, but participation is optional and based on your comfort level and interest.

  • Safety is our priority. If conditions are unsafe for sailing, we offer rescheduling or full refunds. For marginal conditions, we may adjust routes or departure times to ensure guest safety and comfort while maintaining the sunset viewing experience.
