Cancellation & Rescheduling Policy

SUPDog Hawaii will do its best to accommodate any schedule changes. Please note that all sales are final. If you need to cancel your lesson for any reason, you can reschedule it for anytime within the same calendar year. However, no refunds will be issued after the purchase of your lesson.

Surfing Lesson Questions & Answers

  • No experience is necessary! Our lessons are specifically designed for complete beginners, and our instructors will teach you everything from basic ocean safety to catching your first wave.

  • Just bring sunscreen, water, and enthusiasm! We provide all equipment including surfboards, rash guards, and leashes. Swimwear and a positive attitude are all you need.

  • Standard lessons are 90 minutes, which includes beach instruction, water time, and practice. This gives you plenty of time to learn basics and catch multiple waves.

  • Don’t worry! Most students stand up within their first lesson, but everyone progresses at their own pace. Our instructors provide personalized coaching to help you succeed.

  • Absolutely! We offer specialized keiki (children’s) lessons with age-appropriate instruction and extra safety measures. Children as young as 5 can learn to surf with proper supervision.
