About
Spend the “pau hana” (after-work) hours cruising the West Oahu coastline in search of Hawaii’s seasonal humpback whales. From December through March, whales are near peak activity, and late afternoons are often a great time to spot them as they move through these waters.
As you enjoy the leeward coast’s mountain-and-ocean scenery, your crew will share insights about whale behavior, island history, and local marine life. One of the highlights is the hydrophone experience—when conditions allow, the crew will lower the underwater microphone so you can listen for whale song and feel more connected to what’s happening beneath the surface.
Keep your eyes on the water throughout the ride. In addition to humpbacks, sightings may include Hawaiian spinner dolphins, bottlenose dolphins, pilot whales, sea turtles, and even flying fish. Drinks and snacks are served onboard to keep the experience comfortable from start to finish.
