About the Immersive Luau Experience:

Step into the heart of Hawaiian culture as you’re embraced by the spirit of Aloha. This immersive luau experience allows you to:

  • Prepare the Imu (Hawaiian rock oven) alongside our team, learning how to wrap fish in ti leaves and salt it traditionally.

  • Learn the art of weaving Ti leaf lei and pounding Kalo (taro) to make Poi.

  • Experience the cultural concepts of Malama Aina (caring for the land) and Aloha Aina (love for the land).

  • Kava Presentation: Discover the rituals surrounding the Polynesian ceremonial drink.

  • Fireknife Dance and Drumming: Participate in drumming and fireknife dancing, guided by skilled instructors.

  • Enjoy an all-you-can-eat feast of traditional Hawaiian dishes, freshly prepared in the Imu.

  • Join the performance! You’ll be invited to dance with the Fireknife dancer and drummer, becoming part of the show.

  • Guests actively participate in lei making, traditional cooking, hula dancing lessons, Hawaiian language basics, storytelling sessions, and craft creation. Each activity is guided by Hawaiian cultural experts who share traditional knowledge and family histories.

  • Yes! The experience is designed for all skill levels. Our cultural mentors provide patient, encouraging guidance whether you’re completely new to Hawaiian culture or have some previous knowledge. The focus is on learning and cultural appreciation.

  • We limit each immersive session to maximum 12 guests to ensure personalized attention and authentic cultural exchange. This small group size allows for meaningful interactions with cultural mentors and hands-on participation in all activities.

  • Absolutely! All crafts you create during the experience are yours to keep, including lei, traditional tools, or artwork. These handmade items serve as meaningful souvenirs that carry the mana (spiritual energy) of your cultural learning experience.
