Sunset Tiki Sailing Questions

  • Most sunset tiki bar sails include tropical cocktails like mai tais, piña coladas, and rum punches, plus beer, wine, and non-alcoholic beverages. Some tours feature premium open bars while others offer drink packages. Specific inclusions vary by operator, so check when booking for beverage details.

  • Sunset tiki bar sails typically last 2 hours, departing approximately 2 hours before sunset to allow time for sailing, socializing, and optimal sunset viewing positioning. The tour returns shortly after sunset, usually ending around 7:30-8:30 PM depending on seasonal sunset times.

  • While families are welcome, this tour is designed primarily for adults with its tiki bar focus and alcoholic beverage service. Some operators offer family-friendly versions or accommodate children with non-alcoholic options. Check age policies and family suitability when booking, as some tours may be adults-only.

  • Tours typically operate unless conditions are unsafe for sailing. Cloudy skies can still create dramatic sunset colors, and the tiki bar experience remains enjoyable regardless of weather. If tours are cancelled due to severe weather, operators usually offer rescheduling or full refunds.

  • Many tiki bar sunset sails welcome guest participation in basic sailing activities like helping raise sails or steering under crew supervision. However, the focus is primarily on relaxation and enjoyment rather than hands-on sailing. Crew members handle most sailing operations while you enjoy the tiki bar experience.
