Experience Maui’s top snorkeling destination aboard Akialoa, as you explore the breathtaking Molokini Crater, one of the island’s most famous marine preserves. This crescent-shaped volcanic crater is home to over 250 species of tropical fish, offering crystal-clear waters and a rich underwater world. If weather conditions at Molokini aren’t ideal, the crew will take you to another safe and suitable snorkeling destination.
Your journey begins with a leisurely sail across Mā’alaea Bay, where you can enjoy the scenic views of Maui’s stunning coastline. During whale season (December – May), keep your eyes peeled for humpback whales swimming nearby. Once at Molokini, you’ll have plenty of time to snorkel, explore, and rinse off in the fresh water shower provided.
After snorkeling, indulge in a freshly prepared buffet lunch while enjoying a variety of beverages, including wine and local beer. The thrill doesn’t stop there—join the friendly crew aboard Akialoa and take the helm for an unforgettable sailing experience as Maui’s trade winds push the boat along.
