Maui to Pearl Harbor Travel and Tour Details

  • We recommend reserving your tour at least one month before your arrival in Hawaiʻi. Seats on tours and inter-island flights are limited, especially early outbound and later return flights that offer the best views. Booking early also helps ensure availability for the 45-minute helicopter tour and preferred time slots.

  • You will see more than on a standard ground-only Pearl Harbor tour thanks to the helicopter portion. Aerial and ground views may include:

    • Waikīkī

    • National Punchbowl Cemetery of the Pacific

    • Diamond Head

    • Hanauma Bay

    • Koko Head

    • Makapuʻu Lighthouse

    • Waimānalo & East Oʻahu

    • Polynesian Cultural Center (area)

    • North Shore of Oʻahu & famous surfing beaches

    • Dole Plantation & pineapple fields

    • USS Missouri

    • Pearl Harbor

  • Since you are driving yourself, you can stay as long as you like at Pearl Harbor. If you plan to visit other locations the same day, we suggest spending about 2.5 hours at Pearl Harbor. You must coordinate your visit around your helicopter tour time.

  • Helicopter capacity per day is limited, but larger groups may be accommodated by arranging multiple flights or custom scheduling. Contact the operator directly so they can try to design a solution for your group.

  • Yes. This package is available only from Maui, Kauaʻi, and the Big Island (Hawaiʻi Island) as a fly-and-drive package that includes a helicopter ride. You will pick up your rental car at Honolulu Airport and then follow the planned itinerary on Oʻahu.
