Start your adventure at the Ku’ia Estate Chocolate Factory in Lahaina, the largest chocolate factory in Hawaii. From there, our friendly and knowledgeable tour guide will take you on a short drive to our private cacao estate, located in the scenic foothills of the West Maui mountains.

Spanning over 20 acres, our cacao farm is home to lush cacao trees, and this interactive and educational tour will guide you through every step of the cacao growing process. Learn about our unique harvesting techniques and finish your journey with an exclusive 9-piece chocolate tasting of our award-winning chocolates.

Itinerary:

• Check-in & Introduction: Please arrive 15 minutes before your scheduled tour time at the Ku’ia Estate Chocolate Factory.

• Cacao Farm Tour: Take a 10-minute van ride to our private cacao farm and learn about cacao cultivation in Lahaina, Maui.

• Tasting: Enjoy a guided 9-piece chocolate tasting at our tree hale on the farm.

Check-in Details:
Please check in at the front desk of the Ku’ia Estate Chocolate Factory 15 minutes before your tour begins. All attendees must complete and sign waivers before participating in the tour. Covered parking is available behind our building off Kupuohi St.

What to Bring:

• Closed-toe shoes are recommended.

• Light layers, as weather conditions may vary.

• Sunscreen and bug spray, as this is an outdoor tour.

Restrictions:

• Minimum age requirement is 3 years old.

• Guests must be able to walk slowly for 20+ minutes on uneven, mulched ground and climb a flight of approximately 24 broad stairs with a railing.

• There is no space on our vehicles for walkers.

In case of inclement weather, the operator may cancel the tour. You will receive a full refund or the option to reschedule.

Pricing Information:

• Adults (13+ years old): US$95

• Children (3-12 years old): US$75

• Children under 3 years old: Not allowed on the farm tour

Cancellation and Refund Policy:

• Full Refund: A full refund is available with 24 hours’ notice or if the tour is canceled by the operator due to weather or other unforeseen circumstances. To inquire or cancel, please contact us via phone, email, or website chat.

• No-Shows: No-shows will be charged the full price of the tour.

• Re-bookings and Changes: All re-bookings and changes to group size require a 24-hour notice. Reservations cannot be modified within 24 hours of the tour.

• Children’s Restrictions:

  • Children under 3 years old are not permitted on the Farm Tour.

  • Children under 6 years old are not permitted on the Factory Experience.

• Refunds for Groups: No refunds will be issued for groups arriving with children who do not meet the age requirements. We appreciate your understanding.
