About Our Electric Bike Rentals
Maui is full of breathtaking views, and there’s no better way to experience them than on an electric bike. Cruise around the Valley Isle and take in the beauty of West Maui. These bikes offer the perfect balance of exercise and convenience—pedal as much as you like, and when the terrain gets tough or the wind picks up, just engage the electric assist and glide over hills with ease!
Your 2-Hour Electric Bike Adventure Includes:
- Stress-free exploration of Maui without worrying about parking, fuel costs, or harmful emissions.
- Access to some of the most iconic sights of the island, all while enjoying the smooth, eco-friendly ride of an electric-powered bike.
What to Expect at Pickup
When you pick up your bike, we’ll make sure it’s a perfect fit for you. Our friendly guides will give you a brief orientation on how to operate the bike, and provide you with valuable tips for navigating Maui’s scenic routes. You’ll also receive helpful handouts to reference during your ride.
What’s Included in Your Rental?
Each rental comes with:
- Electric bike
- Safety helmet
- Lock for securing the bike
- A quick, easy-to-follow orientation
What to Wear and Bring
For your ride, we recommend comfortable clothing suitable for biking, closed-toe shoes, water, sunscreen, and a backpack for personal items (if needed).
Add the e-Bike Rescue for Peace of Mind
Opt for our e-Bike Rescue service for just $10 to cover flat tires and electronic malfunctions within a 7.5-mile radius of West Maui. Please note: this service must be purchased before your ride and doesn’t cover incidents outside of the designated area. If your bike runs out of battery beyond the West Maui boundaries, it won’t be covered. We strongly suggest this affordable addition to your rental for worry-free exploration, especially since flat tires from Kiawe trees are common.
How Far Can You Go on a Full Battery?
Battery life depends on several factors, including the bike model, terrain, and your riding style. For non-premium bikes, expect a range of 12–30 miles per charge, while premium models can last 30–60 miles. To maximize battery life, use the lower gears and apply less pedal assist, especially when going uphill. If your battery runs low, don’t worry—you can still pedal like a traditional bike. For longer rides, we recommend charging the battery overnight.

For Beginner Riders:
If you’re new to biking, we highly recommend testing your ability to balance and ride a bike before renting. A proper test ride is key to ensuring you’re comfortable with the bike. If you feel unsure after your test ride, you can cancel within 24 hours or choose a tandem bike (two riders on one bike). Alternatively, you can rent an e-bike for 2 hours to get comfortable before your main ride.
