About the Experience
Available daily during whale season, from December through March, our whale watching trips offer a thrilling chance to spot humpback whales in the warm Hawaiian waters.
Morning Trip: The Holona is a fast, open powerboat perfect for thrilling rides outside the bay, but be prepared for sea-spray. Wear clothing you don’t mind getting wet for this exciting excursion.
Afternoon Trip: Most often aboard the Spirit of Aloha sailing catamaran, a more relaxed vessel that offers more sheltered areas from the sea-spray, but at a slower pace than the Holona.
Whales Guaranteed
If you don’t spot any whales on your “Whale Watch” specific trip, you can reride for free on a future trip of equal or lesser value (rerides only, no refunds).
Each year, thousands of humpback whales migrate to Hawaii’s warm waters from December to March. Join us for a chance to witness these magnificent creatures, and you may also see playful dolphins along the way.
