About the Tour:
Every winter, humpback whales travel to Hawaiian waters not only because Hawaii is a top vacation destination, but also to give birth and mate before heading back to Alaska for feeding. With Adventure X Ocean Tours, you’ll be right in the heart of the action!
Our tours bring you close to these magnificent 80,000-pound creatures in a safe and thrilling way. Whether you’re watching baby whales curiously approach the boat or witnessing a dramatic triple breach, Adventure X Rafting has seen it all. Departing from Puako, we immediately enter the nursing grounds where mother humpbacks and their babies are located. Venture a bit further, and you may even witness a dramatic competition pod – a battle between males over a female.
Our knowledgeable captains and crew will share fascinating insights about the behavior of these incredible animals throughout your journey. This is a seasonal activity, available from late December to March. Be sure to check our website for early season bookings if you’re visiting before the peak whale season!
Important Information:
Check-in for all activities is 30 minutes prior to departure.
