It’s the perfect location to experience an extraordinary snorkeling adventure with Manta Rays. Known as the gentle giants of the ocean, Manta Rays are mesmerizing and graceful creatures. During this tour, we’ll take you to a feeding area where these remarkable animals gather in the evening.
Our custom boat uses powerful lights that attract plankton, which, in turn, attracts the Manta Rays. As these creatures feast on the microscopic organisms, you’ll have the chance to observe them up close in their natural environment. The Manta Rays are completely harmless, making this a safe and exhilarating activity for everyone.
You’ll be floating on the surface in a group, guided by spotlights that shine down into the water, illuminating the Manta Rays swimming below. Watch in awe as they perform flips and graceful spins beneath you.

Sunset Manta Snorkel:
Departing just before sunset, this tour offers a magical experience as you witness the sky light up with vibrant colors while the sun sets into the horizon. This option combines both snorkelers and scuba divers for a unique experience.
Late Night Manta Snorkel:
For those looking for a more tranquil adventure, the Late Night Manta Snorkel offers an opportunity to explore the ocean after dark. Our boat will cruise over the deep, dark waters while the moon rises over the majestic Hualalai volcano, guiding us to the Manta feeding grounds. This tour is for snorkelers only.
All tours meet at the Honokohau small boat harbor for check-in.
Cancellation Policy:
For 6 or fewer passengers: Cancellations must be made at least 48 hours before the departure time to receive a full refund. Cancellations made less than 48 hours before departure are non-refundable.
For 7 or more passengers or private charters: Cancellations must be made at least 72 hours before departure to receive a full refund. No refund will be issued for cancellations within 72 hours of departure.
Minimum Passenger Policy:
Each tour requires a minimum of 4 guests to proceed. If this number isn’t met, we’ll reschedule you for a later tour or offer a full refund.
