About
Set sail on our brand new 6-passenger vessel for a truly unforgettable experience with Hawaii’s majestic humpback whales. Our tour begins in the heart of the humpback sanctuary, where you’ll have the chance to witness mother humpbacks with their calves, encounter competition pods (often featuring breathtaking breaches), and listen to the mesmerizing songs of whales through our onboard hydrophone.

Captain Kelsey and the expert crew are incredibly knowledgeable about cetaceans and the Big Island’s rich history. For 1 hour and 45 minutes, you’ll be immersed in a fun and educational journey, perfect for whale enthusiasts and photographers alike. Captain Kelsey’s keen eye for lighting and skillful boat handling ensures you’ll capture the best shots of these magnificent creatures.

The boat is equipped with an emergency bathroom beneath the center console, a hydrophone for whale songs, and relaxing music to set the mood as we cruise. To keep you refreshed, we provide cold drinks and locally sourced snacks.

Our sunset whale-watching tours typically last 2 hours, though it’s up to the captain’s discretion to extend the trip until the sun sets, depending on weather and safety conditions. On most trips, we do get to enjoy the stunning sunset, though adverse surf or wind may require an early return.
