Experience the flavors of Hawaii in one evening. You’ll get to feast on delicious food from around the world while enjoying some excellent entertainment that is sure to keep you entertained all night long. The Island Breeze Lū‘au on the shores of Kamakahonu Bay and Ahu’ena – Kamehameha the Great’s former estate in Kailua-Kona has been named “Best of West Hawai’i” since 2000.
The Luau
When you come to this event, the first thing that will greet your eyes is a warm welcome. This will be followed by an energetic hula performance and storytelling where each member of our Royal Court tells their story in vivid detail through mo’olelo; stories about themselves or others they met on their journey as members of Hawaii’s royal family. An open bar, an intimate venue and a setting sun. All of these things may sound like the perfect ingredients for a romantic evening but when they’re combined with fresh Hawaiian produce including kalua pork, chicken and island fish–and local favorites such as macadamia nuts or banana bread pudding that’s prepared in front of you by well-dressed servers who look more at ease on flip flops than heels (a trend we fully support)–you might just find yourself feeling unprepared. If this is your first time visiting Hawaii then make sure to set aside some extra room because it will be hard not to indulge in all its culinary delights!

Ohana
Hawai’i is a special place that values its family. The word “ohana” means offshoots, meaning the new shoots on taro plants and because Hawaiians are all connected by their common root through stories and cultural practices passed down within families. Today we can honor our ‘Ohana in order to preserve it for future generations while also sharing its beauty with others who want to learn about this unique culture!
